Christ... That is ridiculously awesome!

So when do we unveil the Churchill Tank we've been working on to combat this beast? ;)

Looks amazing, wish I could get to see this thing in action...

By the way, are those bicycle wheels a permanent option, or only temp? I was looking at some WW2-style tire options, and found this (obvious) solution:

Not sure on pricing for these, but they look to be a bit more sturdy than those wire spokes!

Looks awesome chaps! You've really done a cracking job :good:

“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942

we have no plans to change the wheels , this has been built to be as light and cheap as possible, if you use car wheels you will also need a hub and bearings these things add weight and cost, probably £200 to fit proper wheels ,i'm not sure that between us we have spent £200 on the whole thing ,have you try'd to wheel about Gunmans field gun's ,they look great but need several people to move them .the other consideration is transportation and disassembly time , the whole thing flat pack's in about 5 min and fit's in the back of my car ,there is a consideration of being able to tow it to a game but at the moment it's just not built to be towed, the wheels are held on with split pins rather than bolt's ,speed of assembly may not seem like a big consideration but how often have you been rushed getting ready before a game and then add another 10 min just to fit the wheel's .

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well

The wheels although being from a mountain bike are not open on the side but are faced off as per the original design.

With a little bit of imagination you can be made to think the wheels infact take up the space within the wheel arch appearing larger than they are-- attachment is not available --

OK time has dictated that the project is finished but I did want to dry brush a mud colour on wheels etc but time has run out prior to the San Marino game. Still Dadio and I am quite satisfied with the results please feel free to comment.-- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available --

More walk-around pics

Going to hopefully add a Camo net to hang under the front just to bulk that up a bit and maybe add a DAK Zelt rolled up ontop of one of the Mud guards-- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available ---- attachment is not available --
